Areas of Expertise

Trauma-Informed

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional I understand how trauma affects various domains of our lives and how it can hold us back. Whether you are looking to understand yourself more, improve your relationships, manage your emotions, or perhaps something else, I can be a helpful partner guiding you towards your goal of healing and/or working through these issues.

Grief Informed

As a Certified Grief Informed Clinician I work with folks who come to therapy looking for help managing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors related to grief and loss. Do you feel like you are living in another reality? Feeling disconnected? Having a longing for...? These are all common and normal experiences. Using evidence based approaches my aim is to help you fit the pieces back together in a non-linear and nurturing way.

Life transitions / Stress Management

As human beings we are always evolving and changing. Our life circumstances sometimes can feel like life is running us instead of us running our lives. I specialize in working with individuals who have had minor and major life changes/transitions. Together, we work towards helping you restore the balance your life requires while gaining tools to manage stress more effectively.

Let's approach life with more gentleness and ease...

It's hard to manage the various plates we are spinning at any given time. Without warning, mental/physical/emotional stress can cause our minds and bodies to shift in unexpected ways. We need folks in our lives who are comforting, supportive, and real. The therapeutic relationship can be a sacred relationship where feelings of validation and reassurance can make these unplanned shifts in life feel a bit more normal and feel like you're being heard.

The most important relationship you will ever have is the one with yourself. This relationship takes love, patience, kindness, compassion, and practice.
